*The Flyers kicked off their road trip in Anaheim last night, and that return was a really meaningful one for Trevor Zegras. [The Athletic]

*Heading into it, we also got a chance to check in with Former Flyer Ryan Poehling. [Inquirer]

*Anyway, that game in Anaheim was a wild one, but the Flyers came away with the win in the end. RECAP: [BSH]

*We also got a bit of news elsewhere in the organization, as forward prospect Owen McLaughlin was signed to an AHL contract, so he’ll be another one getting a look with the Phantoms at some point down the stretch. [BSH]

*Speaking of prospects, there’s been a lot of talk lately about Jett Luchanko’s development arc, but there’s still quite a bit of reason for optimism that he can develop into an impact player down the line. [NBCSP]

*The season is close to winding down, and we’re thinking about some players who we may be saying farewell to by the end of the year. [BSH]

*And finally, the long-list of finalists for the Hobey Baker Award is here, but surprisingly, Porter Martone is not on it. [HBA]

*He did still get some conference postseason honors, being named to the All-Big Ten First Team, which is a nice nod to get. [Big Ten]
