Tuesday Morning Fly By: First half at home

*We’re back at it again tonight for the first half of the home-and-home with the Washington Capitals, and here’s hoping the Flyers give their fans a little better showing than they did in the opener. The opener was rough, but maybe it’s exactly what we needed. [BSH]

*First meeting between Alex Ovechkin and Matvei Michkov and MM is psyched. [Inquirer]

*It seems as though the problems the team had in the back half of last season are rearing their ugly heads again. Which is less than ideal. [The Athletic]
