Tuesday Morning Fly By: The break is on

*The 4 Nations break is upon us, and things are pretty quiet around here! But we have a few happenings to recap. First up, Travis Konecny missed his first practice with Team Canada as he’s dealing with an illness. We have no insider knowledge here, but an illness the morning after an Eagles Super Bowl win? The jokes write themselves.

*Speaking of 4 Nations, we have some big and bold predictions for the tournament. [BSH]

*The players are also ready to use any information they have on their regular teammates as a competitive advantage for them and their national teams. [Inquirer]

*Elsewhere in the hockey world, the Beanpot tournament wrapped up in Boston last night, with Boston University coming away with the win. It’s a big upset, and the results could well hold some real weight as the selections for the NCAA Tournament draw nearer. [ESPN]
