Tuesday Morning Fly By: The second inches near

*Another fun night of first round action last night, huh? (she writes at 6:52 p.m., knowing fully that she will likely fall asleep before the second period of any game because she is emotionally exhausted) Anyhoo, we all knew it was coming but nonetheless, Justin Braun made his retirement official yesterday. We hope he enjoys it. [Inquirer]

*Because we are the best Flyers website in the world we just happened to have our first player review of the summer yesterday, in which we reflected on the final season of Mr. Braun. [BSH]

*The Phantoms’ playoff run ended quicker than anyone would have liked, but it was still a good bit of high-stakes experience for The Kids getting their seasoning up in Allentown. [Flyers]

*The Flyers are once again hosting their summer “Learn To Play” program, which is a really fun way for local kids to get into the sport. [BSH]
