*The biggest news of the day yesterday, no surprise, came with Danny Briere and Brent Flahr’s pre-draft media availability. If you weren’t able to tune in for it in the middle of the workday, worry not, we’ve got the highlights here for you. [BSH]

*But, as they say, there’s a lot to unpack here. So we’ll do some unpacking. First up, our pal Charlie has his biggest takeaways. [PHLY]

*Unsurprisingly, the Flyers aren’t tipping their hand on whether they’re especially prioritizing grabbing a center with their sixth overall pick. [Inquirer]

*Relatedly… should they maybe be considering prioritizing getting a defenseman with that 22nd pick? [BSH]

*He won’t be an option that far back, but Jackson Smith could be an interesting option for that first pick of theirs (if things break in a way that makes this make sense). [NBCSP]

*They do also have a whole bunch of picks in the early second round, as we know, and having all of those chips at their disposal leaves them in a really interesting position. [The Athletic]

*Sticking with the draft theme a little while longer, here’s a look at who the experts are projecting the Flyers to take with the 22nd and 32nd overall picks. [BSH]

*And because the mock drafts never seem to let up, here’s another one that dropped later yesterday. [The Athletic]

*And then over on our Community Draft Board, we’re talking goalies! [BSH]

*Okay moving on. The rumor mill continues to turn, and now they’re talking about… stopgap centers? [DFO]

*Oh, by the way, the Panthers are Stanley Cup champs again. [ESPN]
