*There were stretches during last night’s game in which they looked markedly better than they have over the last couple of weeks. They still lost 5-2. RECAP!

*Outside of last night’s game, everyone is focused on John Tortorella’s latest obsession: hating Cam York. [Inquirer]

*Evidently John has already tried to “pick a fight” with the young defenseman. Cool! That seems like a great way to do things. [BSH]

*If you’re a subscriber over at Charlie’s website you can read Cam York’s thoughts on the situation. [PHLY]

*Anyway, you know that other thing Torts always does? The benching Matvei Michkov thing? Maybe that one’s not so bad. [BSH]

*Moving on to something resembling good news, Danny Briere is excited about this new guy we got from Toronto in the Laughton trade. [BSH]

*Speaking of the new guy, he did an interview recently and said some stuff about being traded to the Flyers. And his relationship with Mich. [RG]

*Alright, outside of FlyersLand, as other teams push toward the playoffs these are the questions we can expect to see answered down the stretch. [Sportsnet]

*And finally, why grade the trades when you can grade the overreactions to the trades? That’s way more fun. [ESPN+]
