Wednesday Morning Fly By: Status update

*We’re still a few days away from the start of the season, but Nick Seeler’s status is still a bit of a question mark. [BSH]

*Speaking of uncertainties, we have Jett Luchanko’s whole situation. He’s here for now, to start the season, but how long that stay lasts rests firmly in his hands. [PHLY]

*The player previews roll on, and today is something of a two for one special. First we’ll check in with the big three defensemen. [BSH]

*And also some of the younger depth pieces at forward. [BSH]

*Let’s toss in some predictions to go along with the previews, for good measure. [Inquirer]

*The league’s newest team is kicking things off soon, bringing to a close a whirlwind five months of preparation for the folks out in Utah. [The Athletic]

*With Hurricane Milton approaching, the Lightning have had to change up their start of season plans. [ESPN]
