*It’s been a year since Matvei Michkov officially arrived here in North America, and what a year it’s been! To celebrate, we’re revisiting some of his biggest moments from his rookie season. [BSH]

*Speaking of players making jumps this past season, Alex Bump graduated to professional hockey in the spring, and while this time with the Phantoms was a little up and down, it’s put him in a good position to move on to being a full time pro. [BSH]

*The Flyers’ offseason is effectively wrapped up, closed for business, as they’ve already done everything that they clearly set out to do. Will it all work out? Time will tell. [PHLY]

*The Flyers are working towards pushing into the next stage of their rebuild, and while it’s yet to be seen whether next season will see them get markedly better, they should be at least a little bit more fun to watch. [The Athletic]

*Speaking of summer happenings, Garnet Hathaway is keeping busy this summer with his charitable endeavors. [Inquirer]

*Porter Martone is going to college, and everything is going to be fine, nobody is worried about it. [The Athletic]

*Here’s a sentence we never thought we’d be composing: the NHL is partnering with an Italian soccer league ahead of the Olympics. [TSN]
