*Matvei Michkov came in fourth in Calder voting. Given how much he hates losing, one assumes this will only make him stronger. [BSH]

*It was, of course, Lane Hutson who ran away with the win. [Sportsnet]

*In other news, here’s the latest on the guy who might be our new Exciting Russian. [BSH]

*Brady Martin continues to be one of these guys with a ton of helium heading into the draft, so if he’s there at six it’ll be interesting to see what the Flyers decide to do. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Another guy who might not — but also could possibly be! — be available at six is Porter Martone; if you’re a subscriber over at Charlie’s website you can read their deep-dive on what he brings to the table. [PHLY]

*Related, here’s the latest on the Rumblings that came out of combine weekend. [ESPN]

*Up at 35 on the BSH Community Draft Board is a very large boy, who does a really great job of being large. [BSH]

*There are a few really, really good hockey players that happen to play on the wing available in either free agency or on the trade market this summer. Does it make sense for the Flyers to make a play for any of them? [BSH]

*Anyway let’s talk about the season Jamie Drysdale had. On the whole? Not bad, really! [BSH]

*And finally, the 2005 lockout was certainly a low point for the NHL. But it lead to one of the most fun AHL hockey seasons ever. If you didn’t get to experience it, enjoy reading the story of it. [The Athletic]
