2019 NHL Entry Draft Preview: When and where to watch

Day one of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft has arrived. Tonight and tomorrow the next generation of NHL players will be eagerly awaiting for their names to be called. Headlined by Jack Hughes and Kaapo Kakko, the Flyers will be hoping to draft the next big star.

They enter the day with the eleventh overall pick, two third round picks, one fourth round pick, two sixth round picks, and two seventh round picks. Numbers 11, 65, 72, 103, 165, 169, 196, and 201. But that doesn’t mean they’ll actually be making those selections. After already trading a second round pick in this year’s draft to acquire Justin Braun, it’s possible that Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher continues to trade draft picks in an attempt to improve the current roster.

Poll: Should the Flyers trade the eleventh overall pick?

However if they do keep the eleventh overall pick there is plenty of young talent that could be available for the Flyers to select. In SB Nation’s mock draft we chose Alex Newhook, and in BSH Radio’s mock draft we selected Kirby Dach. Could one of our mock draft selections wind up being their actual pick? We’ll just have to tune in to find out.

How to tune in? While we’re hoping that you’ll be watching with us at the Field House, if you’re tuning in from elsewhere the information that you’re looking for is all right here.
