The 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship has been going on for a few days now and while the Philadelphia Flyers aren’t as well represented as some other NHL clubs, their three prospects do deserve to be checked in on. These teenagers are really going at it in this tournament and it has been a joy to watch through the first games of the round robin stage.
Cutter Gauthier
3 GP, 0 G, 5 A
Among the three Flyers prospects in Gothenburg, Sweden right now, Gauthier had the highest expectations. Not only being on Team U.S.A., the potential tournament favorites, but being that team’s top center just adds to the assumption that he would even compete for the leading scorer of the entire thing.
