At Broad Street Hockey we are always looking for strong, polished writers to join our team. Our two biggest needs are AHL/prospect coverage and Flyers game coverage, but if there is another area in which you believe you could consistently contribute, we’d love to hear from you!
AHL/Prospect Coverage
The ideal candidate will live in the Lehigh Valley area and will have experience covering games from a press box and a locker room. Alternatively, we will be happy to consider applicants who can commit to watching every Phantoms game and produce extensive content based on the games.
This individual or individuals will cover all news, updates, and transactions at the AHL level.
Flyers Game Coverage
Do you want to add your unique voice to our game previews and recaps? We want you! The season is long and full of terrors, and you can only analyze so many Andrew MacDonald plays in a row before you lose your mind.
It’s time to share the … wealth. Please note that these NHL game coverage roles are typically filled by folks at home, not from the press box.
All positions are volunteer at this time, but it’s a great way to get your feet wet in sports media with a large audience.
