But Carter Hart would not allow such nonsense.
The 20-year-old sensation stopped 30 of 32 quack attacks, including all 27 at even strength, to claim his eighth consecutive victory, tying the NHL record for a win streak by a netminder before his 21st birthday (Jocelyn Thibault did it in March 1995).
The orange and black have points in ten straight games, and have earned 21 of the last 24 points. With a showdown pending on Monday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team currently occupying the second wildcard position in the Eastern Conference, things are getting interesting heading into the February 25 trade deadline.
Back to Saturday’s game. Michael Raffl and Phil Varone had two point afternoons, each picking up a goal and an assist in what was a four-goal first period for the Flyers. Yes, you read that right.
