Claude Giroux does the 22 Push-Up Challenge on the ice

Have you ever done 22 push-ups before? Probably; they aren’t exactly hard. But have you ever done them on ice? Probably not, if only for lack of opportunity.

The ice is where Claude Giroux makes his living, though, so it only made sense for him to take on the 22 Push-Up Challenge in the rink, in full gear and everything.

The 22 Push-Up Challenge is all about raising awareness (and donating $22) in order to help veterans with PTSD. Why 22? As their website details, 22 American veterans commit suicide every day – and while that may not be quite the number in Canada, where the 22 Push-Up Challenge is originating, any number is too high.

So it’s great to see Giroux join in on this campaign – hopefully he can help spread it around some, too.
