DJ Del Zotto celebrates wins with techno music

It goes without saying: winning is fun. Actually being in the locker room after a win, though, has to be the best – especially when it’s as big as the Philadelphia Flyers‘ 5-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

NHL Network spoke with Wayne Simmonds following the game, and he let loose a few neat tidbits. For example, R.J. Umberger finally scoring really got everyone on the entire bench going – and considering how that first period went, yeah, it’s easy to see this.

And then, of course, there’s just how they celebrate such wins. When asked what their locker room victory song was, Simmonds confessed he has no idea.

“I don’t even know what the song is called. It’s a techno song, actually. I’m not the biggest techno follower… Del Zotto’s got control of the speaker in the room. They call him DJ Del Zotto. I’m lobbying for some hip hop, but I’m not getting my way.”

Poor Simmer – but considering we know Del Zotto takes pride in his DJing, it can’t be all bad, can it?

Oh, and of course: the obligatory quote that the team 100% believes they can make the playoffs. There are still 29 games to go in the season, and they’re only four points out, so it’s still not out of the question.
