The Flyers have replaced all the banners in the rafters at the Wells Fargo Center, updating them here during this 50th anniversary season. Bill Meltzer has pictures and …. they look really good, in my opinion.

It looks as though the color scheme has a clear format:
- the Hall of Fame banners are white text on black with an orange border
- the division champs banners are black text on white with an orange border
- the conference champs banners are orange text on white with a black border
- the Stanley Cup banners are black text on orange with a white border
- the retired jersey banners are all three colors, and the numbers are the focal point/
