Flyers-Canadiens schedule announced; Game 1 on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET

With the play-in round and round robin coming to a close on Sunday, the NHL has finally announced the schedules for the eight first-round NHL series, and that includes the schedule your Philadelphia Flyers will be on as they, the top seed in the entire tournament, take on the Montreal Canadiens.

That series will begin this coming Wednesday, August 12, at 8:00 p.m. ET. The dates of all seven games, as well as the times for the first four, are as follows:

Game 1: Wednesday, August 12 – 8 p.m.
Game 2: Friday, August 14 – 3 p.m.
Game 3: Sunday, August 16 – 8 p.m.
Game 4: Tuesday, August 18 – 3 p.m.
Game 5: Wednesday, August 19 – TBD
Game 6: Friday, August 21 – TBD
Game 7: Sunday, August 23 – TBD

All games have one day of rest between them, with the exception of game 5 which would be on a back-to-back. Times will be announced for games five through seven if/when they become necessary, if they even do for a team that has lost one hockey game since the beginning of March. TV schedules will be forthcoming as well.
