Happy New Year, folks! We’re back again for the very first game of 2024, and the very last game of the Flyers’ Disney On Ice trip. We’re hoping that this one is good to them, because things have not been awesome, of late. To recap: the Flyers are so far 1-1-1 in the first three games of this trip, having picked up three points of the available six up to this point. The last time we saw them, the Flyers still looked a little fatigued, a little less sharp than usual, and dropped their final game of the calendar year to the Flames on Sunday. But despite all of that, the Flyers still holding on to third place in the Metro, but that position remains a bit tenuous, as it’s just three points separating them and the seventh place Penguins. They’ll need to get things back on track and do it fast, and tonight’s game in Edmonton is a great chance to do that.
