How to watch Flyers vs. Islanders preseason 2015, rosters, game time and more

The 2015 preseason begins for the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday night, with two games against the New York Islanders. Each at 7 p.m., the Flyers will host the Islanders at PPL Center in Allentown and will also travel to take them on at their new Brooklyn home, Barclays Center.

Only one of the games is televised, and it will only be shown locally. It’s the Allentown game, and you can catch it live on CSN Philly. Fans in the Lehigh Valley can catch the game on Service Electric 2.

The other game, in Brooklyn, will be broadcast live on 97.5 The Fanatic, if listening to preseason hockey instead of watching preseason hockey is your chosen Monday night plan.

Both games will feature a mix of NHL players and those fighting for jobs, but the televised game at PPL Center does appear to be the more interesting one, in terms of roster. Head coach Dave Hakstol will be behind the bench for that one, and taking the ice will be the Flyers’ top line of Claude Giroux, Jake Voracek, Michael Raffl.

Joining that trio will be both 2015 first round draft picks, defenseman Ivan Provorov and winger Travis Konecny, KHL defenseman Evgeny Medvedev in his first North American game, and plenty of other NHL players. Goaltender Michal Neuvirth will get the start.

Here’s the full Allentown roster. We’ll hopefully know lines before teams leave Skate Zone this morning and board buses for each game.
