This will include prospects in Canadian Juniors (BCHL, OHL, QMJHL & WHL), Europe (SHL, KHL), and NCAA college hockey. Prospects playing in the AHL
Tyson Foerster (C), Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL)
2020 1st Round Pick, 23rd overall
Unfortunately for Foerster the injury he suffered in his professional debut was a fractured shin bone which will put him out of the lineup for three-to-four weeks.
Mason Millman (LHD), Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL)
2019 4th Round Pick, 103rd overall
In his first game since March 8th with the OHL’s Saginaw Spirit, and his first professional game overall, the left-handed rearguard fired one puck on net from the right circle in the Phantoms’ 5-4 overtime victory over the Hershey Bears.
David Kase (LW), Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL)
2015 5th Round Pick, 128th overall
- 2/10 – 1 goal, 5 shots on goal
- 2/14 – 1 goal, 2 assists, 4 shots on goal/
After he failed to find the scoresheet in his AHL season debut, Kase lit the lamp twice and provided two helpers for a four-point, nine-shot week for Lehigh Valley. The left winger has fired 11 pucks on net in his first three games with the Phantoms in 2021.
Egor Zamula (LHD), Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL)

- 2/14 – 2 shots on goal/
Although one of his three shots this week came in the slot below the hash marks Zamula is still on the hunt for his first point at the AHL level. The big fella has sat in the sin bin for one infraction and tossed five attempts on net in his first three pro games.
Linus Hogberg (LHD), Lehigh Valley Phantoms
2016 5th Round Pick, 139th overall
- 2/10 – 1 shot on goal
- 2/14 – 1 assist/
The former fifth-rounder registered his first point in North American competition on Sunday with the secondary apple on Kase’s OT-winner, as he now has three shots on goal and a minus-3 rating through three contests.
Wyatte Wylie (RHD), Lehigh Valley Phantoms
2018 5th Round Pick, 127th overall
- 2/10 – 2 shots on goal, 2 penalty minutes
- 2/14 – 6 shots on goal/
The blue liner didn’t shy away from his tendency to put the rubber on net over the last seven days, as six of his eight shots came in Sunday’s win with two coming above the right faceoff circle, two from the lower half of the right circle, and a pair between the left faceoff circle and crease. Wylie’s got two points, four penalty minutes, and 11 shots in his first three times getting paid to play hockey.
Zayde Wisdom (C), Lehigh Valley Phantoms
2020 4th Round Pick, 94th overall
- 2/10 – 2 shots on goal
- 2/14 – 2 goals, 1 assist, 2 shots on goal/
Wisdom was named the second star of the game in Sunday’s win, as he recorded his first three points in the AHL with two tucks (one of which tied the game with 5:16 remaining in regulation) and the primary assist on Kase’s fourth-period goal. The future Flyers’ fan favorite also has six shots on net and a plus-2 rating so far in the league below the NHL.
Maxim Sushko (RW), Lehigh Valley Phantoms
2019 4th Round Pick, 107th overall
- 2/10 – 0 shots on goal
- 2/14 – 1 shot on goal/
The Belarusian barely grazed the scoresheet this week, as the winger has two points and 11 shots on net over his last 11 contests dating back to his final eight appearances with Dinamo Minsk in the KHL.
Matthew Strome (LW), Lehigh Valley Phantoms
2017 4th Round Pick, 106th overall
- 2/10 – 1 shot on goal, 2 penalty minutes
- 2/14 – 1 goal, 1 shot on goal/
It took just two games for Strome to halve his AHL goal total from his first two seasons in the league, as he’s put two shots on net and has been penalized for two minutes two games into the year.
Pascal Laberge (C), Lehigh Valley Phantoms
2016 2nd Round Pick, 36th overall
- 2/10 – 5 shots on goal
- 2/14 – Minus-2/
Laberge didn’t produce a point this week, but his five-shot performance on Wednesday was the most times he’s put the disc on net in 22 professional games between the Phantoms and Reading Royals dating back to December 21st, 2019.

Elliot Desnoyers (LW), Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL)
2020 5th Round Pick, 135th overall
- 2/10 – 2 shots on goal, 10/20 on faceoffs
- 2/12 – 1 assist, 3 shots on goal, 15/30 on faceoffs
- 2/13 – Did not play/
Desnoyers snapped a five-game point drought this week before missing Halifax’s most recent contest. He has two helpers in his seven appearances since the Mooseheads resumed action on January 30th.
Prospects playing in Europe
Samuel Ersson (G), Brynas IF (SHL)
2018 5th Round Pick, 143rd overall
Ersson was a brick wall in the blue paint this week, as he denied .967 percent of the shots he saw and registered his third clean sheet in 2020-21. He has two shutouts over his last four starts and has posted a .929 save percentage or better in each appearance.The former fifth-round puckstopper is 12-17-3 with a .914 save percentage and 2.90 goals against average.
Matej Tomek (G), SaiPa (Liiga)
2015 3rd Round Pick, 90th overall
Tomek posted a .913 save percentage in his only start over the last seven days. It’s the puckstopper’s first victory since December 30th and puts him at 3-8-1 in 2020-21 with an .896 save percentage and 2.67 goals against average.
Emil Andrae (LHD), Vasterviks IK (HockeyAllsvenskan)
2020 2nd Round Pick, 54th overall
After Andrae was on the ice for all three goals against in a 3-2 defeat to Kristianstads IK to start the week, the blue liner had a tuck on one shot in a whopping 24:02 of ice time (the most ice time he’s logged in a single game in any league dating back to the start of 2018-19) in a 2-1 victory over BIK Karlskoga. The Swede has a pair of tallies in three contests with Vasterviks IK and has played 18 minutes or more in each appearance.
Marcus Westfalt (C), Vasterviks IK (HockeyAllsvenskan)
2018 7th Round Pick, 205th overall
Westfalt’s defensive presence in Vasterviks IK’s lineup continued this week, as he won eight of the 14 draws he took in the defensive zone while going one-for-one in the offensive third with one shot on net. The former seventh-rounder now has a 12-game point drought and 13-game goal drought with seven points in 40 outings in 2020-21.
Prospects playing in NCAA
Cam York (LHD), University of Michigan (Big Ten)
2019 1st Round Pick, 14th overall
The former first-rounder piled up four assists this week thanks to three helpers on Saturday in his second three-point night of 2020-21 and first since the season opener. York has nine points (one goal) in the eight games he’s taken part in since returning from the World Junior Championship.
Bobby Brink (RW), University of Denver (NCHC)
2019 2nd Round Pick, 34th overall
Brink kept his point total on the season at seven while increasing his game count to 11 as he fired five pucks on net this week.
Ronnie Attard (RHD), Western Michigan University (NCHC)
2019 3rd Round Pick, 72nd overall
Attard recorded his first three-point performance of the season this week for his fifth multi-point contest of 2020-21. He’s up to six goals and 11 apples for 17 tallies in 22 games this year.
Bryce Brodzinski (RW), University of Minnesota (Big Ten)
2019 7th Round Pick, 196th overall
With none of his four shot attempts hitting the cage over the last seven days, Brodzinski only has two shots on goal over the last five games to go along with an assist. The right winger has eight points (five goals) in 18 games this season.
Jack St. Ivany (RHD), Boston College (Hockey East)
2018 4th Round Pick, 112th overall
St. Ivany had seven straight games with multiple shots (firing off 19 in total over that stretch) before he only had one shot on goal on Saturday. As an Eagle the defenseman has four points in 11 contests.
Jay O’Brien (C), Boston University (Hockey East)
2018 1st Round Pick, 19th overall
- 2/12 – 1 assist, 3 shots on goal, 3 blocked shots, 8/15 on faceoffs (3 shot attempts)
- 2/13 – 3 goals, 5 shots on goal, 2 penalty minutes, 8/12 on faceoffs/
After he started his BU tenure with three goals in his first nine contests, O’Brien put home a trio of tucks in just one night over the weekend. The hatty puts O’Brien at a point-per-game pace as he has four helpers and 10 points in 10 tilts.
Gavin Hain (C), University of North Dakota (NCHC)
2018 6th Round Pick, 174th overall
The story of Gavin Hain’s week was his willingness to plow into Magnus Chrona (Tampa Bay Lightning) to earn seven penalty minutes worth of goaltender interference, as he totaled nine minutes in the sin bin. It marks the most time Hain has spent in the penalty box since he plopped down for 10 minutes on March 1st, 2019 in a 3-1 loss to Colorado College. The pivot has lit the lamp four times through 19 games this year.
Noah Cates (LW), University of Minnesota-Duluth (NCHC)
2017 5th Round Pick, 137th overall
- 2/12 – 2 shots on goal, 8/18 on faceoffs (3 shot attempts)
- 2/13 – 2 shots on goal, 2 penalty minutes, 6/16 on faceoffs /
Cates’ struggle to find the back of the net continued this week, as his goal drought is now at six games and he only has one tally in his last 11 appearances. The 2017 pick is on a three-game point drought and has 15 points in 21 tilts this season.
