Friday Morning Fly By: Speed it up

*The Flyers went into Raleigh and came out with a well-earned point, hanging with the Canes for 60 minutes before dropping in OT. It was a good game. Recap.

*Well, maybe you didn’t notice, very low-key decision and all, but Sean Couturier was out of the lineup for a second game in a row last night. [Inquirer]

*We haven’t heard a lot from John Tortorella on this, but apparently he thinks Coots is too slow. Coots has always been slow. Coots is in his 30s. Coots ain’t getting faster, so I’m not sure how this is fixed. [BSH]

*The latest 32 Thoughts contains some on your Flyers, of course. They’re the main character this week. [Sportsnet]

*Anyway, we’ve got our bi-weekly check in on The Kids. The Phantoms are just out there playing hockey. No soap operas. Just hockey. [BSH]

*Power rankings, in the form of a celebration of 20 goal scorers, of which we have a few. [Sportsnet]

*And finally, what’s a Friday without a brand new episode of Flyperbole? You’ll never guess what the boys are talking about. [BSH]
