*If you’re a fan of magic tricks, you would probably enjoy watching a replay of last night’s game against the Edmonton Oilers, in which the Flyers made Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl completely disappear. Here’s your recap. [BSH]

*From the Canadian perspective, things are looking pretty grim. Oilers Head Coach Jay Woodcroft was pretty upset last night, attributing the loss to a lack of care and heart. [Sportsnet]

*Owen Tippett is creating a stir among Flyers forwards. He hasn’t tallied any goals this season, but he had two assists last night, and his overall playstyle is a recipe for success. [BSH]

*There’s no denying that the Flyers found some productivity this week, and this is despite John Tortorella’s controversial decision to scratch Morgan Frost for two games in a row. What does it all mean? [The Athletic]

*From around the league, the Ottawa Senators waived Zack MacEwen yesterday. There’s no telling where he could end up, but we agree with Bill Matz. [TSN]

*If you were also interested in the development of Connor Bedard (who isn’t?) he’s starting to figure a things out, notwithstanding that the Chicago Blackhawks are pretty bad. [NHL.com]

*And of course, check out the new Flyp! [BSH]
