The Philadelphia Flyers will face off against the NHL’s top team, the Washington Capitals in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The league released the postseason schedule on Sunday night after the conclusion of the 2015-16 regular season.
The playoffs begin Wednesday with four games, but the Flyers and Capitals will have to wait til Thursday at 7 p.m. to get going — which we already knew since there’s a basketball game in Washington on Wednesday night. Three series will start Thursday in total, while one series begins Friday.
All games will be on CSN Philly in the local area — aside from Game 6, which if necessary will be a Sunday afternoon game on NBC. Outside of the Philadelphia area, games will be on NBCSN or CNBC. In Canada, CBC has the series.
There are games every other day unless the series goes seven, in which case there will be two full days off. Here’s the full schedule for Flyers vs. Capitals:
