It’s the end of summer. While that means that hockey season is finally, finally, right around the corner, it also means that Bruce Springsteen was in the neighborhood.
Well, kind of – on Aug. 30, his River Tour was up in East Rutherford. And in the stands was Jakub Voracek, plus his girlfriend and fellow Flyers teammate Radko Gudas (whose beard is, of course, already in fine form).
Voracek at a Springsteen concert can only lead to good things. And sure enough:

“Oh my” is right. Though I’m not going to be one to judge his singing abilities – I definitely couldn’t do any better, myself – his passion is definitely through the roof. It’s great to see him already in mid-season form, both in exuberance and quality Twitter presence.
So while we wait for the chance to once again watch him throughout the season, here’s a teaser to remember just how awesome Voracek is.
