It’s that time of year again. No, not the playoffs; now, it’s time to look towards the next season.
And you know what next season means: a new NHL video game. NHL16’s shelf life is coming to an end, and soon, NHL17 will take its place.
More importantly, it is now the time to look towards just which player will grace the front of NHL17. And wouldn’t you know it: Jakub Voracek is an option! Let’s all go vote for him.
He’s going to need those votes, too, because he’s up against Connor McDavid, one of the biggest threats to steal the Calder Trophy away from Shayne Gostisbehere. McDavid only finished the year with 48 points; Voracek had 55. I mean, the choice is obvious here.
McDavid couldn’t even stay healthy all season. And you know who took him out? Brandon Manning. You know who Manning’s teammate is? Voracek. It’s all coming together. Vote Voracek. He’d vote for you.
