Jordan Eberle is really, really good. He’s 23 years old, the 22nd overall pick of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2008 NHL Draft. He’s scored 71 goals and added 98 assists in 212 NHL games so far in his young career. He is a forward with a cap hit of $6 million per year until the summer of 2019.
The Flyers are talking to the Oilers about trading for him.
Told today Flyers are talking with EDM about Eberle

So, what would Eberle cost the Flyers?
I would think that the Oilers would want a C in return for Eberle. I would think the C would need to be pretty good.

For those asking: there isn’t a defenceman in Philadelphia worth Eberle. Only forwards.

I wouldn’t put much stock in Eberle to Philly, but if there’s traction I see two options: Giroux or a Simmonds/Couturier package.

Yep. That’s about where we’re at right now with this team. They can’t even go through a minute of unsuccessful hockey without at least thinking about blowing up the friggin’ team. Anybody else sick of this shit?
The Oilers are in town tomorrow afternoon to beat face off against the Flyers.
