*Happy Monday! In case you missed it, the Flyers did a thing over the weekend: The Flyers signed goalie Samuel Ersson to a two-year contract extension – a full year before anyone expected them to. Interesting.

*The KHL preseason is in full swing and as Flyers fans we all have a bit of a reason to pay attention to it, if we’d like to. So we broke down Matvei Michkov’s first game, which was pretty dang good. [BSH]

*Speaking of Michkov, his hype figures in to one of the four big questions surrounding Danny Briere’s first offseason. [Inquirer]

*Wade Allison is also a question, in the sense that we still don’t know what he’s going to end up being. Charlie looks at why this upcoming season is an important one for the winger. [The Athletic]

*What do you think of the idea of an NHL summer league, like the NBA has? [BSH]

*The biggest news of the weekend was that Erik Karlsson was finally traded, and he ended up in the Metro. Of course.

*Summers are for arbitrary lists and rankings, so we ranked the top former Flyers still employed by the organization. [BSH]

*And finally, in case you missed it Friday, a brand new Flyperbole dropped! Please to enjoy. [BSH]
