*Another good weekend of hockey for your Philadelphia Flyers, who took down the Detroit Red Wings at home Saturday night. Here’s hoping the good sports vibes carry over to tonight’s football match. RECAP!

*So the Flyers keep winning, and we all collectively keep waiting for them to fall off of a cliff. But they don’t. Has this been enough to get the fans back into the seats? [NBC Sports Philly]

*In the midst of all this good hockey is a struggling Scott Laughton, who knows he’s got a funk to work himself out of. [Inquirer]

*And then you have the curious case of Joel Farabee, who is playing really well, but is inexplicably in John Tortorella’s doghouse. [BSH]

*Beez is keeping his head up, though, as Charlie found out recently while chatting with him. [PHLY]

*There are a few things the Flyers should be asking Gritty Claus for for Christmas. [Inquirer]

*Carter Hart was out again on Saturday night; buddy’s still sick. Apparently he’s been struggling with this illness for a while and is just starting to get some answers from the doctors. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Another bit of good news that’s probably a shock to no one: Cutter Gauthier has made Team USA and we’ll get to watch him dunk on everyone at the WJC. [Inquirer]

*And finally, back in 2018 — a year that feels simultaneously like yesterday and like 35 years ago — DGB made some predictions about which teams would be poised to win a Cup in five years’ time. Time to see how he did. [The Athletic]
