Monday Morning Fly By: The rare self-goalie’d

*Well, the Panthers came into town last night and despite playing a pretty solid game, the Flyers got goalie’d. By both Anthony Stolarz AND Felix Sandstrom. Was a rough one for the backup. RECAP!

*But Saturday’s game? A Saturday afternoon game against the Bruins? THE FLYERS CRUSHED IT. IT RULED. RECAP.

*Couturier was back in the lineup and he looked good! Which was to be expected. [NBC Sports Philly]

*So, does this mean scratching Sean Couturier worked? Guess you can’t argue otherwise, given the results. [PHLY]

*It seems like the players were pretty pumped to have him back in the lineup. Also to be expected. He was named captain for a reason. [The Athletic]

*One thing we all have to admit, is that these two health scratches, and the comments that came with them, raise some Big Questions that the team might have to reckon with sooner or later. [BSH]
