The time has come, folks! The Flyers have their first day off of the preseason today, after they dropped their first two games to the Islanders, and that means what it usually does—the first round of cuts is coming.

There really isn’t anything too surprising going on here, but it’s worth taking a moment to collect all of the names that will no longer in the mix for Flyers roster spots in one place for you fine folks.

The cuts are as follows:

Returning to their Junior teams are:

D Egor Zamula (WHL – Calgary)63 – D Mason Millman (OHL – Saginaw)

D Wyatte Wylie (WHL – Everett)

RW Egor Serdyuk (QMJHL – Victoriaville)

Additionally, the following players have been released from their Amateur Tryout:

LW Max Golod (OHL – Erie)

LW Ben McCartney (WHL – Brandon)

D Sean Comrie (WHL – Kelowna)

LW Mika Cyr (QMJHL – Moncton)

This brings their training camp roster down to a total of 54 players.

The Flyers will be back at it again tomorrow at home against Boston. And the competition heats up further.
