Photo Gallery: Flyers vs Kings

The Philadelphia Flyers were riding high into Thursday night’s contest against the Los Angeles Kings looking to increase their winning streak to nine games. Anthony Stolarz got the start in net and didn’t disappoint.

Stolarz was incredible throughout the evening, making big stops left and right – even without a stick. Jake Voracek’s goal with the net pulled late in regulation gave the Flyers a chance to win it in overtime, but they hit a few posts and the game was sent to a shootout.

Nolan Patrick was clutch with a big shot in the shootout, but it was enough. The Flyers thought they won the game after a shot from Adrian Kempe was called no goal, but later reversed. Tyler Toffoli would then score to end the Flyers winning streak at eight games.

Photographer Heather Barry was in on the action, capturing fan favorites of Jakub Voracek, Nolan Patrick, Sean Couturier, and more!
