Radel Fazleev livetweeted the Flames/Flyers game

Radel Fazleev is having a really good season. when the Flyers selected him in the sixth round in 2014, he was coming off of his first North American season, having scored just 25 points over 38 games. Some potential there – but just some, enough to justify a late round pick.

That late round pick is paying off now. Fazleev has 63 points in 51 games this season: the leading scorer for the playoff-bound Calgary Hitmen in the WHL. He’ll almost certainly be going pro next season, probably joining the Phantoms.

But hey – because last night, the Flyers were playing the Flames, and Fazleev currently plays in Calgary…

You gotta love when your team’s prospects are really excited about the team that drafted them, and seem to be following along (or at least know when they’ll be able to easily watch them).

Fazleev also had one comment on the game itself:

Four assists last night? Well, he’s certainly not lying. And that tweet came after just Claude Giroux’s first assist – I assume he got too amazed watching the rest of the game to continue tweeting.

That or he’d already said everything he needed to.
