It would seem Wayne Simmonds isn’t the only Flyer who wishes his dogs a happy birthday.
Shayne Gostisbehere has joined his ranks in wishing his French bulldog, Pippa, a happy first birthday. She’s even all dressed up for the occasion (or Valentine’s Day, depending on which caption you roll with).

Aw: now that’s a good doggy dad. Pippa’s even got the “dad why are you doing this” look down perfectly.
Of course, if you’re going to celebrate your dog’s birthday – even if you’re on the road and can’t be there with her the day of – you might as well have an Instagram set up for her. Pippa and her brother Cooper have just that, and it’s great, because it’s a couple of adorable French bulldogs, of course. Being Gostisbeheres just makes it better.
Hopefully Ghost can score her a birthday goal! That’s as good a first birthday present as any.
