2016 Stanley Cup odds: Blackhawks favored to repeat, Flyers have basically no chance

Just as quickly as the 2014-15 NHL season came and went, we’re preparing for the 2015-16 season. And that means … yes, Las Vegas has odds for the 2016 Stanley Cup already.

The Blackhawks return as favorites to defending their title, with 7/1 odds to win the thing in 2016. The New York Rangers have the second-best odds at 8/1, while the Philadelphia Flyers are all the way down at 66/1 — tied with Colorado, Dallas, New Jersey and Toronto. Ugh. Only four teams are below them on the list.

Buffalo, Carolina and Arizona have the longest odds at 100/1.

Here’s the full list, via Bovada. And now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go throw my entire paycheck at the Lightning at 12/1.
