Thursday Morning Fly By: Oh, Canada

*Well, as we all should have expected, Canada will be the one to save us all. Or, you know, the hockey season. It looks like Toronto and Edmonton will be the playoff bubble hubs, since Canada is a functional state and the US is >gestures wildly at all of this< all of this. [BSH]

*Honestly, this is the only way it can work. There is no way to keep the players safe here. [Yahoo Sports]

*So, with hubs set and things, ostensibly, moving forward, how do we think these round robin games will shake out? [The Athletic]

*This dumb virus even ruined Morgan Frost’s 21st birthday!! How rude. [Inquirer]

*Speaking of Frosty, might he be one of the additions the Flyers make to their roster for the playoffs? [NBC Sports Philly]

*Rivalry Week funsies continue, with a few reasons to hate the Edmonton Oilers… [BSH]

*…and also the Vegas Golden Knights. [BSH]

*On Carter Hart and his first full year as an NHL starting goaltender. Kid did good! [NBC Sports Philly]

*The Flyers have scored a lot of goals against the teams in the Atlantic. These are the best ones. [BSH]

*Back to rivalries a sec… they’re really fun, right? Like doesn’t hating the Penguins make watching the games more fun? [On The Forecheck]

*Listen we all love a good DownGoesBrown roster-building exercise but hoo boy, the premises are getting so weird as this pause goes on. [The Athletic]

*And finally… a new FUQ show! In which the boys celebrate rivalry week by running through the biggest Flyers-killers in the league. [BSH]
