Thursday Morning Fly By: Spinning wheel got to go ‘round

*The league suspended Shayne Gostisbehere for two games for his late push of Mark Friedman. In a vacuum, fair. But the DoPS is not operating in a vacuum this week. [BSH]

*The Flyers did some stuff too, signing a couple of prospects to their ELCs. Notably, Halifax Moosehead phenom Elliot Desnoyers. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Anyhoo, as we enjoy this second day off in a row, here’s what we learned from that split with the Penguins. [BSH]
