Anthony Stolarz has a new mask and it is awesome

The Philadelphia Flyers, at this point in time, look like they’ll be full up on net for the 2016-17 season. Steve Mason and Michal Neuvirth combined to tie for the fifth best team save percentage in the NHL this past season, and with both still under contract for a year, there’s no reason to change that quite yet.

Besides, that gives a little more time for Anthony Stolarz, the Lehigh Valley Phantom’s starting netminder of the 2015-16 season. His .916 save percentage was good, but another year of a high workload for the 22-year-old is probably the way to go before his entry-level deal expires.

So it should be the Valley for him again. And now, he’s got an awesome new goalie mask to wear there this season.

New mask for the year

Stop lots of pucks, and look good doing it – because that mask is awesome. Love the little Flyers logos inside the big ones in particular – and of course all of the orange, black, and white!
