The News of the Week We had enough transactions to recap last week to have our news covered for a while, so no real new prospect updates this week. *touches imaginary earpiece* What\'s that? I\'m being told there is another recall to note: Adam Ginning is up with the Flyers now too. The only bit of news we have is some housekeeping: in case you missed it, we took our first monthly big picture look at how the prospects are doing this season yesterday, and you can catch up on that here. What\'s Up With The Phantoms? The Phantoms, now not only short Olle Lycksell, but also Bobby Brink, Ronnie Attard, and Felix Sandstrom, had themselves a tough week. They played three games and only came away with one win (which came on Sunday in the shootout against Hershey). That, we\'ve seen before, and what\'s more concerning is that the offense really dropped off for them this week -- they were shut out against Utica, they scored no goals in regulation against Hershey, and they only scored one goal against last place Bridgeport. This means, of course, that our stat recap is going to be a brief one this time around. On the one regulation goal scored across those three games, Emil Andrae picked up the primary assist. Additionally, though the final season stats won\'t capture this, we\'ll give both Wade Allison and JR Avon a nod for scoring in the shootout against Hershey and securing that win for the team. The Prospect World Tour It was a big offensive week for Mason Millman down with the Royals, as he racked up two goals and six assists over three games played. He\'s fallen out of favor in Lehigh Valley for whatever reason, but he\'s certainly hitting his stride in the ECHL. It was also a bit of a quiet week in the NCAA (are you sensing a theme here?). Hunter McDonald picked up another assist this weekend, and Bryce Brodzinski is getting himself back on track, and came away with three assists. The big happening of the weekend in the NCAA was another prospect team showdown, this time featuring Alex Bump and Western Michigan and Owen McLaughlin and North Dakota. And it was the latter that comfortably came out on top this time around — North Dakota came away with wins in both games, and McLaughlin chipped in two goals and an assist, while Bump was held without a point on the weekend. Up North, we have a few more happenings to recap. Alexis Gendron seems to still be working himself back from injury, and that\'s been a bit of a slow going, but he did put up one assist to get himself on the board in one of his two games played this week. Things have been going well for the pair up in London all season, and that hasn\'t changed this week – Oliver Bonk tacked on yet another goal onto his total for the season (he\'s up to 23 so far), while Denver Barkey had himself another big week, putting up two goals and three assists in their last three games played. Out West, Ryan MacPhereson is starting to find some momentum again – after a bit of a quiet spell, he had a goal and an assist across his last two games with Penticton. And finally, the KHL playoffs have just begun, and unfortunately they are not going so well for Alexei Kolosov. Minsk is down 2-0 in the series against Moscow, and Kolosov has played in both of those games. All told, they\'ve worked out to 28 save on 31 shot and 20 save of 24 shot outings. We\'ll see if he rebounds from here!
