Development camp comes early this year

The Flyers are kicking off development camp a bit early this year, as the team announced today that the kids will take the ice in Vorhees in just a couple of days on Thursday, June 28th. From the team:

The Philadelphia Flyers will take the ice for their 2018 Development Camp on Thursday, June 28 at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, according to general manager Ron Hextall.

A total of 33 players are expected at the camp this year, including all eight of the Flyers’ 2018 draft picks taken in this past weekend’s NHL Draft in Dallas.

What’s interesting this year is that all the participants in this year’s camp are currently property of the Flyers; they’ve invited no one from outside the organization. Here’s the full roster:

Development camp will run from this Thursday’s opening through Monday, June 2nd, when it will conclude with the always-fun 3-on-3 tournament. A full schedule of events can be found here.
