© Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

*Hey, a game was played! Our Philadelphia Flyers visited the Arizona Coyotes. But here comes the young and also-hot Flyers into town and just get a nasty, gritty win. [BSH]

*It is really becoming clear at this point that last year wasn’t a fluke. Travis Konecny really is just this good. He scored two goals in Arizona on Thursday night, but he has just been so consistent that it feels like this is just who he is. [PHLY]

*Look at that! A brand new episode of Flyperbole to listen to and enjoy! It’s the best! [BSH]

*Playing on the blue line as a youngster isn’t always easy. Egor Zamula has made his strides this season and looks to have improved, but is still learning from his mistakes and aims to grow as a player. [Inquirer]

*Sean Couturier is really trying to prove people wrong. [NBCSP]

*Around the league, Leafs’ Joseph Woll established himself as the team’s starter not that long ago and is now going to miss significant time to injury. Ilya Samsonov is already out with a bump. So, I guess the Leafs are cursed. [NHL dot com]

*Gold is on their minds. What American stars are saying about the possibility of returning to the Olympics full-time and playing with one another on what could be the most talented U.S.A. hockey team we have ever seen. [ESPN]
