Monday Morning Fly By: The good vibes persist

*Alright, so the Flyers shipped up to Boston (it’s impossible not to use this phrase, I’m sorry) for a very tough game against the Bruins and they got real close to winning it. But they did not. RECAP!

*Look at this goal Morgan Frost scored though. LOOK AT IT. [BSH]

*There’s just no getting around it, the defense is a problem right now. Both the defensemen and the team defense. It’s gotta get locked up, and fast. [NBC Sports Philly]

*If you thought about the Flyers’ history at TD Garden, the way this game went probably wouldn’t have been much of a shock to you. [BSH]

*There are more tough games against tough teams coming up this week so if the Flyers know what’s good for them they’ll move right on past this loss and get back to fighting. [Inquirer]

*One bit of good news: all of the teams chasing the Flyers in the standings are also losing games right now. Would be nice for the Flyers to take advantage of this, of course, but this little bit of help from the enemies is nice. [PHLY]

*Another bit of (possible?) good news is that the Flyers did seem to get a little boost from the return of John Tortorella. [The Athletic]

*Despite the past few games being mostly pretty rough, the vibes are still good. Try as you might to deny it, we’re still having a good time out here. The Flyers’ Charities Carnival yesterday was packed. Fans are invested. The players? Having a good dang time. [Inquirer]

*Alright let’s talk Eastern Conference Playoffs. What are the odds we end up with a Carolina Hurricanes 1 seed? [ESPN]

*And finally, always and forever: pull the goalie, you cowards. [Sportsnet]
