The Philadelphia Flyers were back in action at the Wells Fargo Center as they hosted the Detroit Red Wings in a home-and-home series. The Flyers were led by the heroics of Travis Konecny, who scored two goals including the game-winner in overtime. They would blow a 5-1 lead in the third period that would send the game into the extra frame. Four different Flyers scored in the win, including Nolan Patrick, who added three points on the day.
Following the win, Carter Hart met with Connor Parkkila, the reason why Carter Hart wears the number 79. The Flyers return to action Sunday night against the Red Wings.
