BSH Radio presents: A conversation with Paul Holmgren

On November 16th, Paul Holmgren will take his rightful place in the Flyers’ Hall of Fame, joined by fellow inductee Rick Tocchet. It is an honor befitting a man who has been a member of the organization from almost the very beginning; drafted by the Flyers in 1975, he played for the Flyers for nearly a decade before he retired. He then rejoined the organization, holding nearly every position in an NHL front office, from coaching staff to General Manager to President.

But before we get to watch Paul’s induction into the Hall, he’ll be behind the bench again coaching against Iron Mike Keenan in the upcoming Alumni Game, which will be played November 15th at the Wells Fargo Center. It’s the best lineup of alums assembled to date and promises to be a very exciting, very fun, and probably very goofy game of hockey.

Paul joined the BSH Radio team to talk about his career with the Flyers and his induction into the Hall of Fame, what we can expect when we watch the alumni game, and what he thinks about the current Flyers roster.

Tickets are available now for the Alumni Game on Monday November 15th; buy your tickets here for what will be a really fun night and a great chance to see your old favorites back on the ice in the Orange & Black.
