The Two O’Clock Number

2 — the number of players besides Bernie Parent who wore No. 1 for the Flyers. Goaltender Doug Favell originally had the number, and wore it as Parent’s backup in the inaugural season. Goaltender Dunc Wilson also wore the number during the 1969-70 season.

After being claimed in the waiver draft from Boston, Wilson only played one game for the Flyers. The following year, he was claimed by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1970 Expansion Draft.
