Thursday Morning Fly By: The NHL is weird

*So, as you may have noticed, the last two coaching hires made by NHL teams were coaches straight out of college. First, The Dallas Stars hired our old pal Jim Montgomery, and now the New York Rangers have added a new coach straight from Boston University. You know what this means, don’t you? The Hockey Men™ think that Dave Hakstol is good, and his hiring a success story. What a time. Anyhoo, enjoy NYC, David Quinn. [ProHockeyTalk]
