The Philadelphia Flyers will host the New York Islanders in a preseason game at Allentown’s PPL Center, home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, on Monday, September 21. Tickets are on sale beginning today.
That evening the Flyers will send one squad to Allentown and another to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for the first NHL game at the arena as the Isles’ official, permanent home. The split-squad affair will open the preseason for both teams, and since it’s a split squad, you can probably expect a decent amount NHL-caliber players in both games. (That’s not a promise of course, since the preseason rosters are at Dave Hakstol’s whim and who knows what he’s gonna do.)
Here’s the pricing for this game in Allentown:
You can buy tickets at PPLCenter.com or at the building’s box office.
