*Completely off topic, but apparently Philly has a new pro lacrosse team coming? That’s neat.

*Anyhoo, the Flyers will meet up with the Carolina Hurricanes tonight. Should be interesting. Carter Hart will be back, apparently. Before that, how’s about you check up on what the prospects have been doing? [BSH]

*You can’t have a conversation about the best and worst power plays in the league without talking about the Flyers. Because their power play is very very bad, you see. [The Athletic]

*After this past weekend’s HHoF inductions, it feels like a good time to consider the former Flyers who deserve to have a place there, but don’t. Not yet, anyway. [Inquirer]

*The awful story of Adam Johnson’s tragic death continues to get worse, as the player whose skate cut him has been arrested in the UK. [TSN]

*The World Junior Championship is rapidly approaching (cue up “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year”), which means we’re going to lose a few NHLers to the tourney. These are likely them. [The Hockey News]

*And finally, the General Managers are at it again, getting together to come up with solutions to problems that don’t exist, while ignoring all the ones we keep shouting about. Do you like this? [ESPN]
