Photo Gallery: Flyers vs Blackhawks

The Philadelphia Flyers were back at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday afternoon to continue their home stand with a battle against the Chicago Blackhawks. Brian Elliott pitched his first shutout of the season, making 33 saves and keeping the Flyers in it from puck drop. The offense was paced by Claude Giroux and Sean Couturier. Giroux opened the scoring off a turnover and Couturier added two goals of his own. The Flyers improved to 5-0-1 over their last six games and are back towards the top of the division. A lot of it has to do with the play of Giroux and Couturier.

Take a look at photographer Heather Barry’s best photos from the shutout, featuring Gritty, Claude Giroux, Travis Konecny, and more!
