Monday Morning Fly By: And so we go

*It’s been a pretty rough few days for the Flyers, to say the least. After the sad news about Oskar Lindblom’s condition came out, we saw the boys play a really poor game against the Wild. And to top it all off, they lost two more players to injury. Here’s what we learned. [BSH]

*Scott Laughton and Tyler Pitlick are the two guys who went down Saturday, and as of now we have no idea what the timelines are. [NBC Sports Philly]

*And then last night the Flyers… well, they lost. Big. Recap.

*We did finally get a look at one of those Phantoms players we’ve been itching to get a look at, though. And he looked pretty okay. [BSH]

*If these injuries persist, we’re probably going to see some kind of rotation of AHLers in and out of the lineup — unless one of them plays super well, obviously. It’ll be interesting to see who gets the nod as things play out. [Courier-Post]

*Seems like a good day to have a look around the Metro Division, see how things are shaking out. [The Cannon]

*There was never a lot of love lost for Tim Thomas among Flyers fans, but reading his account of life after hockey, thanks to head injury, is a real heartbreak. [ProHockeyTalk]

*This Lindblom stuff is tough to stomach. We have an inspiring story to look to, though, in Logan Pyatt. [Courier-Post]

*And finally, the Flyers will be rallying together in support of their friend for the rest of the season, one can expect. Win it for Oskar, eh? [NBC Sports Philly]
